Entrepreneurs and Creators

Remote work didn’t just change where we work.
It changed how we think.

Ice baths. Run clubs. Coworking spaces.
Chess nights in cafés halfway across the world.

Its about mindset. Health. social circles.

Chess isn't popular with nomads by accident.
It sharpens decision-making.
Teaches calculated risk.
Rewards patience over impulse, but also action over analysis paralysis.

In other words — it trains the exact skills entrepreneurs and creators need.

And if you’ve traveled long enough, you already know this:
one comment…
one question…
one shared moment…

…can change everything.

To live a better life.

A life of freedom, connection and choice. This is why we do it.

Don't let the screen take that away from you.

University Students

University is where minds are built —
or wasted.

You already have the laptop.
Most students already play chess.
Which makes Benko the easiest win of a gift you can give — or receive.

And if you don’t play chess yet, here’s why you should.

Your early twenties are the peak of fluid intelligence.
Problem-solving. Memory. Critical thinking. Creativity.

It’s the stage of life where these skills matter most —
and when they’re easiest to develop.

It’s also when screen time quietly takes over.
More scrolling. Less thinking.
More isolation disguised as productivity.

Benko pulls you back into the real world.

It turns dead time into mental training.
Isolation into connection.
Another study break into a shared challenge.

This isn’t just a laptop sleeve.
It’s brain exercise you actually enjoy.
And a reminder that intelligence compounds — if you train it.

Travellers

Two things have quietly become non-negotiable for modern backpackers:
a laptop…
and chess.

Everyone’s playing online. Heard of chess.com?

But let’s be honest —
theres something different about face-to-face.

The problem?
Board games don’t travel well.
Extra weight. Extra space. Extra hassle.

Benko solves that.

A real-world game, built into something you already carry.
No added bulk. No wasted space.

Pull it out on a hostel table and watch what happens.

That visible design isn’t decoration —
it’s an ice breaker.

Travel is where opportunities for connection surround you constantly.
Benko helps you make the most of a place and time.

It’s not just a sleeve for your laptop.
It’s a social tool for the road.

A must for travelers who understand that the best part of the journey
is who you meet along the way.

The facts

People don’t hang out like they used to.

Over the last 20 years, the average time spent with friends in person has fallen from around 60 minutes a day to 20.

That time didn’t disappear.
It moved to screens.

Most people who use laptops all day aren’t wasting their time though.
They’re building things. Writing. Designing. Thinking.

The issue isn’t screens themselves.
It’s what quietly disappeared alongside them.

Face-to-face time.

Working alone happens more than ever now. More conversations happen through text. Fewer moments are shared in the same physical space.

That matters.

Human brains evolved for real-world interaction. Eye contact. Tone of voice. Micro-expressions. Timing. Shared attention. These signals activate neural networks involved in empathy, emotional regulation, memory, and learning — networks that simply don’t light up the same way through a screen.

In-person interaction strengthens social cognition and emotional intelligence in ways digital communication cannot fully replace.

This isn’t just about productivity.
It’s about richness.

Chess won’t solve isolation — but it creates a rare condition:
two people, present, focused, engaged in the same moment.

Strategic games like chess are linked to improvements in attention, working memory, and problem-solving. Played face-to-face, they also reintroduce social stimulation, something many adults are missing.

A game takes 10–30 minutes.
That’s a lunch break spent thinking together instead of alone.

Technology isn’t the enemy.
Isolation is the trade-off we stopped noticing.

Choosing moments of real connection isn’t a rejection of modern life —
it’s how you make it feel human again.

Our mission

Benko exists to protect more than just your gear.

Yes — we protect your laptop.
From impact, from wear, from a life of movement.

But protection also means something else.

Protecting focus.
Protecting clarity.
Protecting the mental space required to think, plan, and make good decisions.

In a world designed to fragment and steal attention, Benko is a reminder to be deliberate.

We believe connection still matters.

Real connection — the kind that happens across a table.
A conversation that starts small and goes somewhere unexpected.

Benko is designed to invite that moment.
To signal openness.

And finally, reflection.

What you carry says something about what you value.

Benko reflects a lifestyle built on intention —
using technology to create freedom, not dependence.
Staying grounded in the real world.
A life of richness over digital noise.

Technology will not dissolve our human intelligence. It will be our leverage to achieve more.

Benko isn’t just something you carry.
It’s something you live by.

I was a little skeptical at first, even though i only have a 15" laptop. but! it actually works pretty well. the first thing that stood out to me was how heavy it was. this definitely isn't aluminum, it's closer to steel than anything else. however, personally i'm not peeved because at the end of the day, you *might* want something a little heavier and stronger to hold your devices rather than actual aluminum. i think this is a great holder, and i would recommend if you're looking for an affordable way to take care of your laptop.

I know this product well, so far.

With this lot, i totally bought six of them. A good, robust, and versatile product, that improves laptop cooling efficiency, and is even good to read books, or hold music sheets!
